Hand sanitizer recycling
Something that we use every day is in fact a hazardous waste in many cases.
With the influx of hand sanitizer flooding the market since the COVID-19 outbreak, it has become a major issue for facilities, as many sanitizers are hazardous due to their flammability. We have multiple avenues to take this hand sanitizer to facilities that remove the liquid from the original consumer packaging and collect the liquid and/or gel. They are then able to distill the ethanol from the material for recycling and beneficiary reuse. Most of the time this material can be disposed of without having to send the material out as hazardous waste, so that it does not go against your generator status.
